Summary: Draco has a surprise for Harry.
Harry exited the Floo and trudged over to the sofa. He dropped onto it with a grateful sigh. "Bloody hell," he muttered. Today had been awful. Everything that could have gone wrong at the Ministry had, and Harry was late getting home. He hoped Draco wouldn't be too angry.
Right on cue, Draco strode into the parlor of their home and gave Harry a sympathetic smile. "Rough day, love?"
"That would be putting it mildly," said Harry. "Please don't tear a strip off of me for coming home late."
Draco joined him on the sofa and cuddled closer. "We're on holiday next week," he said. "It was to be expected that everything would go tit's up right before you took off."
Harry relaxed and stroked Draco's hair. They hadn't made any plans yet, but he would be content to simply stay home and shag his boyfriend rotten.
"I have a surprise for you," murmured Draco. He pulled a travel brochure from his pocket and handed it to Harry.
"Malaysia?" asked Harry, studying the photo on the front. He'd always wanted to visit there. "You booked us a trip to Malaysia?"
Draco nodded. "Happy birthday, Harry."
