Gertrude Munk's gaze flicked back and forth between Harry and Malfoy.
"After carefully considering both arguments," she began, "our decision has been made. Believe me, this was not an easy choice. Both of you have compelling reasons for taking your respective stances in this situation, and we, the members of the Wizengamut, appreciate those reasons."
Mrs Munk paused a moment and straightened her hat. "However," she continued, "we had to take the child's best interests into consideration, and it is for that reason that the Wizengamut has decided to vote in favor of marriage between Mr Potter and Mr Malfoy."
