Summary: Harry and Draco return from their honeymoon and open their wedding gifts.
The honeymoon was over, but Harry and Draco were still basking in the afterglow the day they returned home from Paris. Draco had coddled Amber and fussed over her until Harry had to resort to drastic measures to distract his husband from playing with the cat.
"Draco, we still need to open our wedding gifts."
"I'd almost forgotten," cried Draco. He set Amber down and gave her a final pat before joining Harry in the dining room, where Ron and Hermione had piled their presents on the table for them.
"Shall we sit at each end of the table and start unwrapping?" asked Harry, pulling out a chair already.
Draco agreed with Harry's plan, and he retrieved pens and paper for both of them to write down the gifts and whom they were from. They received the traditional items of linens, china, silver, and photo frames, along with some whimsical kitchen items and a gift certificate to Ambrosia from Clovis. Harry and Draco took turns showing off each item as it was unwrapped and exclaimed over.
Draco realized Harry had gone quiet, and he glanced up to see his husband looking at a newly-opened gift with a blush on his face.
"What is it?" Draco asked, intrigued in spite of Harry's expression.
"It's a...um, it's a gift from Arthur Weasley," said Harry.
"Well, what is it?" Draco prodded.
"Ahem," Harry stalled, reaching up to rub the back of his neck uncertainly. He took a deep breath and then another. Finally, he said, "It's a box containing three different kinds of lubricant, along with a book The Joys of Gay Sex."
