(no subject)
You know, I shouldn't be posting right now. I should be writing up a description for a village for Cyc (I did volunteer, after all) or starting an SRP in Nequus. For once, I feel kinda inspired. Buuuut instead, I'm LJ-ing...
I make cakes with my sister today! We couldn't remember the quantities we normally use, and ended up making not enough cake mix, so we made the same again, and ended up with 32 cupcakes rather than the usual 24. Half of them had cinnamon in, too. Then we decorated them with Christmas-y things - cutting out stars and holly leaves from coloured icing, stuff like that. It was good fun. We gave some of the cakes to the family friends we went to visit in the afternoon. (They gave me a bottle-shaped present. I'm excited XD)
Tomorrow... my mother is taking me shopping! I don't get Christmas presents as a surprise this year, just a shopping trip, but I don't mind. It means I should be able to get a nice winter coat, and some flat boots, both of which I've wanted for a while. I've decided to buy the jacket I like in H&M (sorry Holly!), because the jacket I have at the moment which is similar is falling apart.
Then, in the evening, somehow I will be organised, and I'm going out in Harrogate with Dan and Charlotte (two of my flatmates from uni). It should be great fun, and good to catch up with them both. I'm looking forward to it ^^
