School year, etc.
I wouldn't say this to anyone I work with, but I love not having to float this year! It's great. It takes off a lot of stress. I don't feel guilty because I had to do it last year.
And one other thing I wouldn't admit...
I love teaching juniors. Now I kind of realize why Melisa was so upset about having to teach freshmen after only ever teaching juniors and seniors. Juniors have managed to achieve this intellectual level that only comes with age. I put a poem on the overhead and they don't just stare at it blankly.
The first week was tiring, though. But it was fun to have my students back.
I went to an awesome Toadies concert last night at a ranch in Glen Rose with some people from work. Awesome outdoor venue.
