Yay, housework!
So we all made it safely through the week without any layoffs at SEM.
I've been tired all week because we had parent conferences on Monday and never really made up the lack of sleep. Yay for talking to self-righteous parents.
So, yesterday we went out for happy hour (at 2:30 because it was early dismissal) and stayed in Deep Ellum till about 6. I came home and crashed at 7:30. I woke up this morning and felt better than I have since school started!
I got so much done today. I cleaned every room in the house and even got in three bags of leaves from my back patio. The house looks the way I envisioned when I bought it.
And I think tonight's going to be a lot of fun. I'm going to Mesquite to hang out with Melisa and some other friends and it's always fun to hang out over there. I'm glad we got to know each other better this year.
Ok, back to my coffee and some Charmed before we go out.
