So today turned out to be my last day.
Nothing bad happpened. But, I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning that I scheduled two months ago (a specialist with a LONG waiting list) and I couldn't take any time off for that. My boss was unable to give me any time off so I told her that today needed to be my last day so I could go to that doctor's appointment. I wasn't going to cancel it.
So, I am officially unemployed.
I had that inevitable knot of nervousness when I left for the last time.
So long job!
And reality kicks in.
