(no subject)
Well it looks like, right now - before any new referrals or transfers, I will have 13 kids at my other school. I love how you can go from a caseload of 32 to 45 in mere moments!!! It's a very nice school - let's hope they give us a room to work out of. The school has self-contained classes like mine but there they are moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, which means I HAVE to do an in-class lesson so those will be K & 1st grade. The rest that I got are 4th and 5th graders...I'm hoping they are mostly language cases - a little more exciting than articulation therapy. We'll see tomorrow.
This morning I got some more apologies - one girl said "please forgive me. wright back"...some of them wrote that they didn't do anything and so-and-so got them in trouble! Too funny!
I wanted to go to this get-together my apartment complex is having at a restaurant with another complex...food, fun, and trivia for $2 - but my roommate has a business dinner, 2 friends are finishing moving, and another doesn't feel good! So looks like I won't be going!:( But in happy news we FINALLY got our refund check from the other complex - only took them 6 months and 6000 phone calls!!!
