Walking home from an organ concert a couple of weekends ago, I paused as I walked past the park benches so I could read the dedication plaques. This one in particular got my attention:




Obviously Mr. Lipsky was a mover (I remember seeing his name on moving vans), and he was probably a shaker, but his heirs certainly aren't spellers. When I make a judgement like that, I'm always afraid that I'm the one that's wrong, so I figured I'd better check before I said anything. If I have a dictionary I have no idea where it is, so I consulted my trusty internet. It confirmend my judgement of the mispelling of epitome, in a rather humorous way.
