Experiencing the worst down-cycle since 2000. I didn't know that was possible anymore. I guess I had assumed that the new rational safeguards would provide an artificial floor. Instead, those safeguards only protect against certain self-destructive actions, but fail to prevent self-destructive inaction.

At least it hasn't fully seized.
