Naughty Bits!!
I'm very pleased to announce that my good friend Dan MacKenzie from college has a mother who writes romance novels. She embarked on this career rather recently, after she'd sent her 4 sons off to college. Her first book, The Naked Duke, was published last year to good reviews (on the Romance circuit). Her second, The Naked Marquis, is now available as well. A third, The Naked Earl, is expected next year.
I of course ordered the book as soon as Dan let me know it was available and I have to say it was a fun read. I think I liked The Naked Duke better because the Duke actually becomes naked a lot earlier in the first novel than the Marquis does in the second. There's a free preview of Earl in the back, and that one looks to be good well, with the nakedness happening a lot earlier. I also liked that the heroine in this one has spectacles, proving that men really do make passes at girls who wear glasses.
