Hi all,

A few people had been posting fic elsewhere, and Xavier was kind of special for me. I'm not much of a fic writer, so it normally takes a good push to get me writing. Anyway, this is the story of how 'Anvil's most notorious heretic' died.

The lovely people on #maelfroth gave me some prompts -- here are my responses to them.

First: 'Someone you hate', from estantia. This one grew in the writing a bit. Given the prompt in question, I'm sure several people could guess who the object of hatred is.

Gosh, this was easier than I thought it would be. Deciding to write in first person took some getting used to, and 'Busy' turned out longer than I meant it to, but not by much.
