Today in Rock Climbing class I made it to the top, overcoming my fear of heights, and rang the bell! Now I feel like I'm made of Jello, but I couldn't be happier, what a great way to start the day!
Alex Neil and I went bowling last night, so Alex could practice for his league games today, it was super fun and Neil and I's first time using the new custom bowling balls we ordered. It took me a while to get used to my 12 pounder but it was fun, and I can't wait to go again tomorrow with my boys, Jenda, Shaun and Angeline.
Mine (Red & Black) and Neil's (Purple & Gold) and our bag
I forgot to mention this earlier, but as an early b-day present to Neil we purchased an exercise bike, our first piece of gym equipment. He's been really excited about it, and we were able to buy a really nice one because his parents offered to pay for half as a present, it's great to be able to make these lifestyle changes with so much support. Neil's been borderline vegetarian lately, eating nearly all veggies, and it's made the changes I've made easier to follow through on because I get the positive peer pressure on portions and food choices.
I'm still a bit sick, but I finally got a prescription for antibiotics and they seem to be working, plus my insurance from work finally went through. It's been an active few days, but things are starting to turn around, now off to the shower and then to work.
