Staycation

My friend said, "isnt it funny how every choice we've made has led us up to here?"

When I think about it, I'm pretty proud of what i've accomplished. There are always things that can be improved upon, but it's all in the works. I have a modest house, the best significant other that one could ask for, a job that isn't too stressful, and a dancing passion that never gets boring.

Of course, in my own fantasy i wish i was a stand up comedian .. but i realized how difficult of a hustle it is and i already hustle so hard with dance (for the last 11 years) and i can only dabble in it as a fun little experiment. who knows though? life is so unpredictable.

another little dabble is an acting 101 class that i'll be taking in July. Why not? I live in the city that never sleeps (not really true anymore since the pandemic ..) so why not try all the fun things this city has to offer.

i'm off this week so i can finally just U N W I N D and take it easy.

I used to be so strict with myself, i'd say 'Lynn, you have to take up at  730 to eat breakfast, go to the gym at 8, finish by 930, grocery shop at 945... etc)

Now i'm more like "Lynn, wake up whenever you feel, and do whatever you feel like doing.."

Here are the fun experiments I've doine with my hair:

underneath the crochet hair are these braids.

the crochet'ed hair

my regular beach-wave permed hair, unbraided, uncrocheted.

i haven't seen my regular hair color and texture in probably 15 years or so. i'm always dying it pink, purple, cuting it short, adding extensions, perming it, braiding it... WHY NOT!
