i finally understand why suddenly i want to drive a stick shift...and why today at work i covered my baked beans in pure habanera pepper powder and tried to eat as much as i could without drinking water...and why suddenly i want to be employed at as many places as possible at once

i'm sorry that's such a shit situation for you right now. and looking at your bosses, they're not exactly used to your can-do, actually your can-do-right-now, attitude. people are always amazed by people with drive. like it is something unattainable. it just takes effort and passion, two things that most people seem apt to disregard. (improper usage of the word "apt"??)
i'll give you a call tomorrow once i figure out if i need to be at rehearsal or not.
