Ianto - I loved him this week. This is the Ianto that was hinted at originally. He's coming back into himself. The Risen Mitten and the Life Knife had me in fits of giggles... and then the comment about it being the button. And isn't it so very Ianto to have such an old looking stopwatch? No hightech multi function thing here.
Tosh - I think she, and the others too, couldn't cope with the fact that she'd so easily forgotten what had happened and that they'd lost a colleague. It's almost like pre-Gwen was another universe and it all began with her.
Owen - I think we had so little with I/T/O this week because the big focus was on Jack, Suzie and Gwen. But there was still some stuff. Had there really been something going on between Suzie and Owen, or did she just know him well enough to play with Gwen? Either way it's interesting. Especially with the hints at the end... is this all stuff to get Gwen away from Owen? First Tosh's crush and now past goings on with Suzie.
Gwen - the replacement, only better? Suzie really didn't like her. Was it true, or did she just make herself not like her because she knew she was killing her? Three months. It's only been a short time, yet it feels like Gwen's been there forever. And none of them liked that reminder. The glove worked best for her, because she's the only one with real empathy?
Jack - You'd think a lot of these lessons would be stuff he's learnt before. And maybe they are. One day he is going to run out of space. And, was it my imagination, or did Ianto/Jack just become proper canon? Uses for stopwatches? Chucking everyone else out so they can have some fun? Mind you, the music over the second to last scene was hinting hugely at some Jack/Gwen too.
Suzie - I never liked Suzie. She seemed a bit power hungry. But it scares me to think how long she must have been planning all that. Years. And, seriously Jack, pay a little more attention to your employees please. I think the glove warped her, she saw so many people coming back to life only to tell her there was only darkness that she devised a way to come back... so she could kill her father. hmm. It makes me wonder who she thought would use the glove, if she was the only one any good at it. Maybe she figured that it would be someone knew, someone she didn't know and would therefore be easier to kill.
Also - there's something in the dark and it's coming to get Jack? Is this gonna be TW's badwolf?
