Only to be fair- and not because my brother decided to watch television instead of help out the team- we allowed Gaara to solely contribute for the cookie event because he suggested to us that he had a very sure fire recipe to help us generate points ( Read more... )

Maybe he confused gingersnaps with liver-snaps.

Did you know there was liver in these cookies before trying one?

Not really. To be honest, noone else volunteered a hand into the cookie-making duty except Gaara. So you had to understand the sort of laziness that's going on in my group.

Ah, poor teamwork. What have you been doing instead?

Ahm...

Besides hiding from Gaara, I've been staring at this Christmas tree thing for a while?

Honestly.

How in the hell can this be entertaining? There's nothing special about making this ugly and weird-smelling tree look decent with flashy decorations. There's nothing exciting about cooking gross cookies. There's nothing worth it to me to splash fake cheer everywhere.

I'm contemplating asking my teammates to not try to partake in these silly events and just... sit around somewhere and get drunk. Because that to me seems fun instead of being forced to do all this shit that won't benefit me greatly.

Ara. Don't overcheer me too much, Sunshine-dust. I still have cookies to back and trees to decorate. I guess the deal with this Christmas thing is to do stuff together with the goal of deriving some type of joy from it. Of course, you can see it as having no point, but you can put anything into those terms. Life for example. Is there a point?

No. Not really.

Well, I can't fully say that. A real point to it to me is to live it in completion, yet in moderation out of respect of other people.
