SO I know I can write this because I know those of you who find me here won't judge me, or don't actually know me well enough for it to do any harm.
First. I have realized something about power. When your walking down a hall, in a bar, or in a bathroom, anywhere, someone says hi. Suddenly you feel small. They are this whole powerful thing and you are this tiny little being. You give them that power. I didn't realize that until lately. If you speak first, you establish it as your turf. I know it sounds funny but I need towrite it down to remember it. To realize it has merit. And when you talk to someone and don't think they are paying attention because your talk is meaningless or inconsequential, it's all in your head. You are as big as you think you are.
