Mom is almost done with her chemo. They did a PET scan on her the other day. Today we found out that her cancer had spread, her adrenal gland mass they saw at the beginning of the chemo treatments has grown, and now there is a mass in her lung that is most likely cancer.
She wants to stop the chemo altogether, she says she can't handle it, that it is too painful and etc.
Idk what to do, Idk how handle this. Selfishly this is going to kill my chances of moving to florida and finishing my degree. I'm so mad at her for wanting to stop chemo and saying how cancer is going to kill her.
Research I have done says only about 5-15% of state 4 colon cancer patients make it past 5 yrs.
I need a shoulder. But i'm scared to let anyone really know how this is affecting me, same as the last time.
