   A lot of recent activity lately in "Transnistria," the Russian occupied slice of Moldova on the far side of Ukraine. It started three days ago with some small bombs going off there from unclear cause, possibly false flag agitation, and the Russian forces there went to high alert. Then about 24 hours ago the only bridge between mainland Ukraine

Putin just wants peace.

A piece of Ukraine, a piece of Moldova, a piece of Azerbaijan, a few pieces of Georgia...

The various fires and explosions inside Russia do seem to hint that there's resistance forming-- or else that Ukrainian special forces are very, very aggressive and competent. I'm amazed that Ukrainian missiles and aircraft seem to be carrying the war back onto Putin's turf.

It will be interesting to see what history and looking backwards will make of this incursion. No doubt those in Mariupol will be honored.
