It’s a rating community that aims to be accepting not elitist, supportive not snobby, caring not cruel. We do have an application process becuase sometimes people come along who we feel just don't belong here, usually becuase they're not nice people.Ok, I had just joined the previous night at about one in the morning and wanted to sumbit the bare bones of the application before I forgot to. First off, yes, believe me, I have extremely strong opinions and I have often gotten into some deep shit for voicing them. I have learned, to quote Phantom, "those who speak of what they know find too late that prudent silence is wise". This isn't exactly a debate community is it

Music is really not all emo, but most people give such a vague explanation of what it is, that yes it may seem like it all is. We have no problem with most of your music taste, it was your lack in opinion. I am sure if you would have took as much time on your opinions as you did on this comment you would have gotten in, easily. Your comment here shows that you do have strong opinions, if only you would show us this in your application. Don't think i am trying to be mean, because i am not, it's just advice. Aeriel

Just keep working on editing it, as long as your not bitching at other members i am sure the mods, wont delete you. If you do bitch and get offensive, alof of people wont change thier minds if you do change it. So keep working and I will see what you do then.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with metal, but there is something wrong with shitty metal. Like Disturbed. The point of having rules and being strict is so we don't get people like you, so that no one can just be accepted, because there are people who just don't get along. And by telling us your opinions we can try to avoid that.

Can't agree with everyone, which seems to be what you all to be striving to achieve here. What you all want opinions on are general issues, to broad to account for much. Debate makes a communnity interesting, there is something to talk about and more variations of input. I can see your points for having rules and such, it makes sense, but why bother being so uptight or having so many? It makes filling the application out hard and then, when you're ripped to shreds later, pissed. I read the rules, yes, did I remember every single one and take notes? Er, no.
This whole argument has been spawned by a simple misunderstanding. Do I want to fight and insult you? No. But I felt like I was provoked. *laughs* Irish temper and all, of course I'm going to try to defend myself. And I'm not the sort to back down, I'll wait until mods or whoever kick me out than to withdraw on my own as I believe you all think I will do. Nothing personal, understand, but if you bait the bitch, it will bite. :) And vice versa, I'm sure.
