I'm now faced with the very real possibility that the worst case scenario might come true. If I cannot convince the university to make an exception, I will be put back as an undergraduate, have to reapply in the fall, and transfer only six of the 15 units and none of the 200 hours of internship I've completed.

I will call and make an appointment with the provost (the head honcho) for Monday, and also the supervisor of the woman who told me all this. I'll go as high as I need. The problem they keep telling me is that you cannot be an undergrad somewhere (as in not graduating from Davis until December) and a grad somewhere else. Fine. I understand policy. But if this is true, then I should never have been admitted in the first place. Since I was, I will fight.
