The Days
Spent a very worrying few days worrying about my cat. A vet visit and a Dexemethesone shot later and she seems to be getting on a bit better. I know she's old--as are most of my cats--but...I'm not sure how that makes a difference. I love her and I worry.
No writing done today as work, animal care and errands have eaten most of the day. For some reason it was difficult to buy gas today--one place was just shuttered, zeroes illuminated where there should be a higher than normal price--and at the other only the lowest grade of gas was available. (I've been experimenting with higher grades of gas and have noticed better mileage. Exciting news!)
I've also decided to stop drinking again. This won't go over well with others. I went sober for just over five years, which is long enough to romanticize alcohol. The first forty minutes of having a glass of wine is great--it's the sludge and nausea the next day I can do without. So here we are! On Day 2!
