You'd think one of these days I'd stop crying during Neverland, but you'd prolly be wrong.
Went to the first WEAVER show in Osaka with Laura, Elle, and Lydia. Our numbers were only middling, but we managed to get a decent spot anyway.
Sugi and Okkun spotted us before the lights came up on stage, and the Be~chan found us during an early song when I was the only person in our area bouncing up and down. And from then on we got lots of attention! Okkun always always looks at us when we do the clap.. clapclap thing and grins and encourages us. Sugi spends a lot of time looking at us throughout the show, and Be~chan makes sure to smile at us when we make eye contact with him.
During one of the little MC corners, Sugi was asking where people came from for the concert, and we knew that Iman and her friend Rashidah were down from Tokyo and Malaysia respectively, but we couldn't hear them yelling. And if we couldn't hear them, and we were only a few people over, then WEAVER couldn't hear them either. So we started yelling MALAYSIA! MALAYSIA! and pointing over at their area, and Sugi heard us and looked confused, 'cause he knows we're from Osaka. And then he noticed us pointing and looked over at them. Meanwhile, Okkun had to turn around he was laughing so hard at us.
And yeah, I cried at Neverland, which I pretty much expect to by now. And then again during Tinkerbell (oh man, I cried like a bitch during that song, wtf) which was completely unexpected. Tinkerbell has never made me cry before.
Yesterday's show was.... honestly, not as good. The boys were still great, and the music was great (even though Sugi messed up a line in 白朝夢 - instead of 2人になってしまいそう he sang 幸せなってしまいそう and then did that "damn that was really bad" sort of grin), but the crowd was pretty bad. They just didn't seem to know what to do at a livehouse show, and their responses to WEAVER were really usui as well. And because the audience wasn't as responsive, WEAVER was also more low tension, so it all just kinda made for a less satisfying show.
But the first day and VARIT were phenomenal, so you know. It balances in the end.
I didn't cry during Tinkerbell this time, so yay for me. I did during Neverland (of course) and the girls in front of me kept shushing me because I was singing along with it, but you know what? I DON'T CARE. Because Sugi looked directly at me for the whole first verse of the song and sang it with me, holding eye contact the whole time even while I was crying. Because he understands why it's sad for us, and he likes it when I sing along with their songs, damn it. (Though Be~chan is waaaaaaaaaaay more concerned about us singing along than the other two, which makes sense since he actually writes the words.) So there.
Oh yeah, I nearly forgot. Laura and I got separated a bit during the show because there was so much pushing during the opening song, and then the people around us (mostly the girls who didn't want me to sing and their mother) wouldn't let us back together again. And during all that pushing, one of the girls in front of me got knocked down, and when I tried to help her up she smacked into my lip and split it. And I think Sugi at least, and maybe Okkun, saw me right when I had blood running from my lip. Yay~
Be~chan doesn't seem to be quite himself lately - at VARIT and the Osaka shows he's not been looking around as much, nor is he quite as grinny. He didn't see us yesterday until near the end of the show, despite us being a lot closer than we were the day before.
They're going to be broadcasting the Tokyo show (I think) on フジテレビNEXT, so if anybody has that and can record it, I'd appreciate it.
Also, I am nearly done with the can badge collection:
All I have left to get are the emblem one and the secret Sugi pin. And I have a lot of doubles, so if there's anyone out there who wants to trade.... (^_^)v
