life, in a nutshell
A few quick notes because.... well because I kind of feel like writing something, don't have the words just yet to put down what's currently bugging me (dream stuff, mostly, so it's not really something I have an option in changing), and am too lazy or whatever to write with any real coherency. So, yeah.
Still have a headache, painkillers still not working, looking forward to an attempt at breaking the month-long mark.
I've done enough photo work for Dad recently (getting pictures and slides done of his ceramics for gallery/show submissions) that I could start putting together a portfolio and listing myself as a art photographer or something on my resume.
This has also demonstrated that I desperately need my own camera, as Dad had to buy out my roll of film (b&w, 36 exp, 2 shots taken) so I could do the slides this morning in the good light.
The tripod I got for Christmas is pretty high quality, and has a little level on it and lots of other nifty features. I like playing with it.
I'm hungry. Yes, this is actually worth noting. Shut up. :Þ
Got an awesome button-down shirt today.
And a belt, because I'm tired of having to constantly hitch up my pants so they don't drag on the ground. Stupid pants designed for tall people.

I miss everyone from the office and need to work out a plan for seeing them on a Friday or something so I can hang out with them and be happy.
Given the option of having a chase dream, or having a dream in which I can run, I would *so* choose the chase dream. More on this later, I think.
I need to get different music in my mp3 player.
The book I'm currently reading, about the Celts, sucks. And I finally figured out why. The author believes any little shit theory that ties in neatly with what he thinks makes sense. I have a low tolerance for this sort of thing (ask me about the Glottalic Theory sometime). So when he devotes a whole chapter to Old European society vs. Indo-European society, I grit my teeth. Yet for some reason I will stick with the stupid book until it's completely done. Why?
