(no subject)
So...
I finally got the call back from WDS. I'm so elated. Well, not at the current moment, I'm more tired and hungry at the moment, but overall I'm excited.
I have to go to Smokey Point for training on the fourth of next month. Apparently what had happened was the paperwork was changed shortly after I interviewed. So when my interviewer sent it in, it was the wrong paperwork.
They never told her however, and she eventually got a hold of them to find out what was going on. When she found out that it was the wrong papers she called me in asap to have me refill out the new stuff.
Apparently she really likes me; she says I have excellent qualifications and she didn't want to lose me as an employee. Which is funny because she is leaving managament and going back to the same job that I am. I'll be training at the store she will be working at but I will work at the store closest to home (Thank goodness!)- driving down to smokey point everyday would kill me I think. Not only in gas but I don't handle large city traffic very well.
So I start out making 11/hour, which is more than I've ever made before, but at the same time I'm only working one or two days a week. Don't know how many hours, that hasn't been discussed yet.
I guess I'll find out at training :)
