I guess that's what happens when you try to be deep and different-sometimes you just fail.

I haven't resigned myself to disappointment just yet, there's hope! I'm too caught up emotionally in this show though to be objective yet.

I do think this show takes a little too much pleasure in the torturing of its characters. The family Agathon are good candidates for some happiness maybe, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm really hoping that the flashbacks do tie in in a significant way, but at this point, I think I'm ok with having them just give us some more time with these characters. Particularly if that's all the Sam we're going to get. Gaius and Caprica did explain so much though yes, they did a good job making those fit.

hello ominious dialogue
OMG YES. I spent the entire episode worrying that Caprica was going to snap Papa Baltar's neck or something. Especially when she said "the last time I saw him, he was happy" which was ringing all kinds of alarm bells in my head like DUN DUN DUN.

my new Adama spam blocker was on full force tonight.
lol. I was joking to my watch!mates that too bad he didn't have any white paint to throw about xD

Yes, exactly. She was back in scary/adorable Six mode being so interested in these strange humans and their emotions. I thought it was great.

They must love us if we were spared that!

You only get ONE DAY of Spring Break?! But... that's just not right!

I don't even remember what happened in Bill's: my new Adama spam blocker was on full force tonight. He was unhappy about something? Maybe?

Bwahahahaha! Adama spam blocker... well, he was only onscreen for a flash, so there wasn't a lot to block.

I fangirl Rick Worthy's voice, just sayin'.
I KNOW! *swoons*

Sam's a corpse that can talk and look pretty in flashbacks, but it's such a miserable thing to do to a character who was finally starting have a bit of his own agency and plotlines.

I think that's all we're getting, too.

The thing that really makes me sad about Chief's plotline though, is Cavil WON. That's nothing short of tragic.
Ack, I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're absolutely right.

But... that's just not right!

See, they should listen to you. But it'll be nice to have the whole department pretty much to myself. :)

I think that's all we're getting, too
*cries* If we get something else, I'll be thrilled, but I don't expect it anymore. I'm mostly done whining about it now, just needed to get it out.

Chief is just one of the many many characters who are unbelievably frakked up right now. In a sure sign sanity has checked out, Kara's starting to look like the emotionally stable one.

I thought the pigeon was supposed to represent Kara - the rat with wings who infests Lee's heart, or something? Heh.

Adama spam blocker! *dies* :D

Why should the Baltarians get special treatment is a system based on representation by ship captains?

Yeah, I agree. I'm sure there are other religious sects who would like representation too - like the Sons of Aries?

Yeah, Sam's flashback was guh-worthy. That man is gorgeous. And yes, I am very very sad about his apparent fate. :/

Nicky! Can they please give him to Caprica since no one else wants him? *cries*

Well, I guess I needed an Adama mocking icon anyway, might as well use this. ;)

I thought the pigeon was supposed to represent Kara - the rat with wings who infests Lee's heart, or something?

HAH! Obviously that is the true meaning. :D

Yeah, I agree. I'm sure there are other religious sects who would like representation too - like the Sons of Aries?

Can you think of a faster was to dissolve even a somewhat suspect democratic system? *shudder*

And, yeah, like I mentioned above to rose_griffes, I really just needed to get my bitching about Sam's fate out of my system. He's certainly not the only character who's been screwed over on BSG and it was probably a ton of fun for Trucco to act, but... It wouldn't take much for me to be ok with his plotline, but I'm thinking we probably won't get it now. :(

I second your vote for Nicky, won't someone think of the children? ;) It's oddly one of the small things that is most disappointing to me this season. Ugh.
