Earthquake!
I woke up this morning because of an earthquake - the first one in my life that I haven't slept through or otherwise failed to notice!
(Yes, I slept through the infamous tremor that occurred in Boston during my senior year of college)
Pretty freaky. I initially thought that someone had broken into our apartment and knocked over a bike (which I do often myself, as there's nowhere else to put the bikes except in our narrow front entryway); and that the weight of the bike falling had caused the floor to shake. (We're not always logical when woken suddenly in the wee hours).
