Christopher Reeves is my Uncle.
I'm 50 years young. *grin* I graduate from St. Aloysius (grammar and junior high), Dominican Academy (H.S.), and Columbia University. I graduate from college with a degree in Political Science and Economics. I almost minored in Spanish. I also attended New York University where I was a Communications major and a Trustee's Scholar. I also attended CUNY - Staten Island Community College where I was Pre-Med with a minor in Art. I also attended Pace University where I was a Political Science major. And I have my certification as an Airline Ticketing Agent from the Travel Institute of New York. It took me a long time to graduate from college *grin*
I have a colorful childhood and formative years. The multiple schools I attended is because I kept flunking out *grin* It's because I have a mental illness diagnosis of Bipolar I disorder. I was date raped twice when I was 18 and had an occassion when I was 11 by an older cousin. It started out as PTSD, but then untreated it became Bipolar I. I am much healthier mentally and emotionally these days because I've been in therapy since 2004.
I choose Political Science because I'm fascinate by how societies govern themselves. I was almost a Philosophy major instead, but I was interest in going into government, either as a Congresswoman or Assemblywoman. I choose Economics because I'm fascinate with how societies distribute wealth and grow wealth. Also I lyke how you can use calculus to explain butter vs. guns or love vs. sex. *grin* I was almost an Engineering major - Computer, Civil, or Mechanical. I even look at Biochemical Engineering.
I choose to go to NYU because I was waitlist to Columbia University the first tyme around. Although I already attended Columbia University at their Summer School for HS students. I am accepted into Albany State University with a Presidential Scholarship (Full ride for six years to become an attorney), Stonybrook University, Binghamton University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Boston University, Boston College, Tufts University, Mount Holyoke, Amherst, University of Chicago, St. John's University
I dorm at Goddard Hall for my first year at NYU. And then I have an apartment at Thompson Street in my second year.
I actually wasn't going to go to University. I almost enlisted in the Marines until they told me a female cadet was gang raped there :/ I caen fight off one man, but not a gang. I was verra interest in being in the armed forces, either Marines or Army.
I'm in National Honor Society in High School. I'm in AHANA (Hispanic National Honor Society) at NYU as well as the Asian Student Union (ASU). I'm Co-Editor of the Yearbook. I'm Vice-President of the National Honor Society. I was Student Representative of my class for all four years.
My mother's sorority is Alpha Omicron Pi and I'm an honorary sister.
My parents are immigrants from the Philippines. My mother is a Registered Nurse. And my father is a Marine Engineer. My mother has an aneurysm in 2006. I became her primary caregiver and had to give up Law School. I was planning to start law school that year at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, but tragedy struck. My mother dies of Cancer in 2018 after a year long battle. My father is retired and I live with him as well as my younger brother, Kris.
I am single and unmarried. I never got married or have children. I have a colorful dating history in my formative years. My last serious relationship is with Michael. He's Italian and Irish. He dies in 2015 from a drug overdose. I met Michael in the Fall of 2008 in rehab. I was there for Bipolar I and so was he. His diagnosis fluctuates between Bipolar I and Schizophrenia. He has a dual diagnosis of mental illness and drug addiction. He's a heroin addict. And I spent nearly a decade trying to get him off the drugs. He spent the last 8 months of his lyfe in prison for drug possession and selling drugs (Klonipin) and dies a few days after he's released. I struggle with his death for nearly six years. As well as my mother's.
In 1997 I decide to never marry. However, I also decide to adopt a son. Either from Africa or the Philippines. Perhaps both.
My b-day is 7/7/72. July 7 at 3:14 AM. Lucky 777's. And 2 is my father's b-day 2/2 and my mother 10/2. 3:14 is Pi. A Perfect Circle. I arrive on a Friday. I'm a Cancer Sun (Scorpio Decan), Gemini Ascendant, and Taurus Moon.

I use to purchase many books, but I ran out of room for them, so now I have a Kindle and a Nook. I haven't read a book in nearly two years. I was busy doing other thinges. I plan to start reading in earnest in 2021 as well as try audio books and podcasts.
Music: Growing up my favorite band is "The Beatles" and I have all their music. I'm classically trained in piano since the age of four years old. I can compose music and I have. I also play the guitar. I'm currently unemployed and struggling to pay bills. I don't know what job I should get because I want to be in Communication and the Arts. I consider myself an 'Artist' and I know how difficult it is to eke out a living as an Artist. I oil paint, but haven't done so in many years. If I could sing, I would be a singer. If I could act, I would be an actress. If I look lyke a model, I woulde model.
I love animals. I cry when I see animal cruelty. I don't currently have furbabies because my father won't allow any in the house. I use to have kitties until mid-2000s. when my last son dies of cancer. Broke my heart.
I currently reside in New York City, in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. I plan on relocating to California and/or Hawaii in the next year. I spent two years in Los Angeles back in the late 90s. I also spent a year in Chicago and a year in Tampa, Florida. I've traveled the world somewhat... I've been to England, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Bermuda, Philippines, and various places in the U.S.
My parents owned a Summer House in Tuckerton, NJ for over a decade. I woulde go there w/Frenz and we'd go to Atlantic City Boardwalk and the nearby beach. It is an awesome place. It's straight out of the '50s with a public golf course, a drive-in movie theater, and fast-food restaurants with roller-skating waitresses, and Johnny Rockets!
Back in 1996 I create the alias Jessica "Jessa" Pavino. All frenz and suitors I meet at that point on know me as Jessa, but they also know who I really am. They just know I prefer being call Jessa. I create it because I go through a traumatic breakup with my ex-childhood sweetheart, Montaign Gamino. Pavino is Gamino. See? I realize that I have many stalkers and to confuse them I box. *grin* Hit 'em with a right and then a left, uppercut, and then K.O. ahahahahaha It's also a spiritual experience for me jesudelruth Jessa is similar to Jesus. And indeed I have a spiritual experience that involves "The Holy Spirit" as Jessa Pavino jessapavino. In 1996 I'm in Terris and create the characters Valeria, Zara, and Persephone as JPavino - Jessica "Jessa" Pavino.
I currently have no close friends. I left my old facebook and started a new one because I grew apart from my old friends from my formative years and I'm looking to make new bonds and friends with those I actually interact with on a daily basis.
I am not really close to my extended family anymore. We'll see if that changes within a year. I come from a huge extended family of close to 100+ first cousins. However I have family thruout the world and represent the entire world - Europe, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Russia, Mediterranean Region, Middle East, Africa, Australia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, North America, South America.
My godfather, Uncle Joe is a Marine Veteran. He was wounded at 'Nam and received honors. He resides in San Jose, CA. I'm one of his fav. nieces. Both of my godmothers are Registered Nurses married to Medical Doctors. One resides in San Francisco and the other resides in Hawaii. My grandfather is a Phil-Am Army Veteran. My Uncle Arturo was in the Phil-Am Marines. My nephew is in the Air Force. My cousin works for a Veteran's Affairs Hospital.
I'm straight but bi-curious at times. So actually a bit crooked *grin* I'm conservative but very open-minded. I'm sensitive lyke my sun sign Cancer (moonchild). I'm quiet and loyal. I don't really talk about politics in my journal because it's incendiary. I do dream of getting married one day to an amazing man lyke Keanu Charles Reeves and having two or three children.

I'm fluent in English, Spanish, Bisaya, Tagalog, with a smattering of Japanese (study it for a year in college), and French (I study a semester of Honors French in college) and Chinese. I also study Latin for four years in High School and I am a recipient of Silver Medals in Latin for all four years.
Although I have trouble with Calculus, I score a 100 on the National Regent's Exam for Algebra, a 98 for Geometry, and a 95 for Trigonmometry. I don't fare as well in biology, chemistry, and Physics *grin*
I was also all-around athlete in junior high. Currently I have no fitness regimen and I am overweight. *grin*

My Brush With Fame: I was asked to be a dancer in a Beatnutz video when I am 22 years young. I also win a Karaoke contest at our local bar "The Eagle's Nest". I sing 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor. I was ask to be a lingerie model. I perform the Shakespearen Soliloquy of Iago from "Othello" at a Shakespearen Oratory Contest in High School. I didn't place but the Judges came up to me afterwards and say they were impressed that I choose a male soliloquy. I didnae realize that all the girls chose female soliloquies except me. I have one line in our Girl Scout's play where we do 'Facts of Life'. I perform at a number dance and piano recitals. I used to be a VIP at The Limelight (Night Club).
I was a bit of a D&D fanatic and use to play a role-playing game online - Terris. I made three memorable characters. Valeria - a blue-eyed, red-headed half-giant fighter in the Warrior's Guild and a Blade in the Temple of War. Her steed is silver and her name is Harlequin. Zara - a human sorceror in the Temple of Death and Warlock's Guild, blue-eyed and raven-haired. Persephone - golden blonde hair and blue-grey eyes, an elf wizard in the Wizard's Guild and in the Temple of Fate.

I was once considered the town beauty and town genius. That's what everyone around here say about me. However, God decided to bless all my enemies with happiness, joy, fulfilling careers, true love, marriage, children, and success. He did not bless me with such.
