Yesterday I went to visit friends at the beach, and today I return with a slight sunburn and new hat. I haven't been anywhere near a beach more than once in the past four years, despite my state being fairly notorious for our shores. I have both Unity and UDK on my laptop now and I want to try and learn at least one, maybe eventually both. I also have to pick a project and stick with it; earlier this summer I posted tentative plans for a text based horror game, and sadly I might be shelving that for a while. Tech camp turned out to be a hectic six weeks and I dropped off the face of most of my blogs, personal writings and other projects in order to be a counselor. I don't really like kids but there were some highlights:

Never use a long word where a short one will do.
If possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.
