Ive gone mobile. Maybe I'll update more often. Being sober has been good. My mood is more stable and despite an occasional craving, I am doing well. No more mood altering... too self-defeating.

I know that isolation is supposed to be a bad thing, but honestly I think I prefer this. I did not talk once yesterday. I have only seen 2 people in the past 3 days (and that was only a few minutes). I think I just prefer to be alone. Maybe I should get a cat??? -

Needed Update
I feel shitty that I haven't updated in so long. I've placed my "recovery" on the back burner and have focused elsewhere. I haven't cracked a book about PTSD in months. I'm not obsessed with my abuse nor the recovery from it. I have however started to figure out that I need some help with my relationship. B and I are still doing (mostly) well ( Read more... ) -
New Year
Well, thank fucking whatever for this year ending. Although today means absolutely nothing to me, it does have that symbolic "reset button" / "start things" feeling/vibe to it. Well, I now have a job. It's not the one at the non-profit so I now have to go find another part-time job in order to eat and pay bills. I'm really upset I didn't get the case manager position because I felt as though I knocked the interview out of the park. Over a Month
It has been over a month since an update... so here's the quick & dirty.
This is the worst time of the year for me. There's a major anniversary tomorrow and it coincides with a personal/family date which makes tomorrow severely dreadful.
I hate the holidays and what it brings out in people.
