i think i'm destined to never have a summer where i DON'T end up doing some cleaning...

as of now, i will be, technically, working 3 jobs this summer. i had my interview yesterday with the realty place for the receptionist job and they liked me so i got hired. i had my first day today, and it doesn't seem all that hard--there's just a lot of business stuff i'm gonna have to pick up on soon. i'm also by far the youngest employee there. most everyone else is married and old, and i guess there's really only like 4 agents and then the main guy, plus my boss who is the actual receptionsit. so, there's not a big staff there. however though, they were also looking for someone to deep clean the entire office building every weekend also, and asked if i wanted to get on board for that as well. naturally i had to boast that i've already had experience doing housecleaning for 2 summers, so i'll get to do that on the weekends now too for an extra $20 a week...great.

i started my other job with the moscow parks and rec yesterday. right now it's just the after-school program that's going on. and it was pretty boring, actually. at first i just stood around, or wandered around making sure that everyone was behaving (and it was mainly middle-schoolers that were there, and they scare me slightly). but afterward, some of the younger kids asked me to play some pool with them, so i did that for awhile. i also hung out and watched a little TV with a few of the kids...apparently Sabrina The Teenage Witch is still on, so we watched that. they also have this game called Speed Stacks and it involves timing yourself to see how long you can stack up a bunch of cups in a particular pattern, then unstack them back down. it's intense and there was this cute little 3rd grade girl that was so determined to keep getting a quicker time. it was cute. but i really can't wait for the summer program to start because i don't just like walking around with nothing to do...

anyway, i'm hungry and i really wanna go play some tennis today, but no one ever wants to join me...i'll have to work on that, i guess.
