The first time they met, Billy damn near got his arm broken.
He's pretty sure there would have been a lot more damage if Don hadn't shown up flashing his badge to prove he wasn't one of the mobsters Eliot had been expecting to ambush him at his 'retrieval'.
Once they offered him immunity for whatever he was there for he provided the information they needed to locate the Austin brothers and put them back in jail.
Eliot had simply appeared out of nowhere at the bar they were celebrating at after the arrests, bought Billy a drink, raised his glass to him with a smoldering look from a dozen feet away that electrified Billy's entire body, then disappeared into the night.
The sculpture Eliot had been sent to retrieve never did show up in the inventory of stolen goods they collected.
The second time they met Billy was off duty, enjoying a weekend of not busting heads in Bumfuck, Nebraska. He'd thought it would be a quiet two days of catching up on laundry and cleaning his apartment.
He was wrong.
Eliot showed up at his door and left the place in shambles.
He didn't leave Billy in much better condition. He called in sick for Monday, still laid out on the bed exhausted from a brutally amazing two solid days of sex.
The third time Billy saw Eliot he was ready; he called into work the second he saw him across the parking lot.

"Coop."
"El." Billy nodded at him, keeping a good six feet between them. "How you been?"
"Good. Still in one piece." Eliot cocked his head at him. "You?"
"Been ducking when the bullets start flying," Billy answered casually.
Eliot wrinkled his nose in distaste. "I don't like guns." He took a few steps forward. "So... Got any free time?"
Billy's heartbeat raced faster with each step of his approach. "Some."
"Good." He moved so fast he was almost a blur, pushing Billy up against the SUV, grabbing a handful of his shirt and licking a long stripe up Billy's neck that made him instantly hard - that taut body pressed against his, with all the memories it brought up, too much to resist. "Because you're about to be very very busy for the next couple of days."
