- still no knitting bag. + started a fun shawl in blue/purple Kauni yarn to console myself. Won't work for Mom's b-day, but I'm enjoying it

There's an English version on the designer's blog (linked in Ravelry), though really it's just: Cast on 5, follow the charts. WS rows are k2 at each end otherwise p -- except for the heavy lines on chart 3 which are just knit. Chart 1 is worked twice with a stitch between and charts 2 and 3 are worked 8 times with a stitch between (plus the 2 garter stitch edge stitches).
I replaced the paired left and right increases with k,p,k in a single stitch which makes a slightly different increase column.
But also, I have Margaret Heathman's Knitting Languages, which allows one to knit an awful lot of things. I have knitting books in 4-5 languages I don't actually read.
Oh, I like that. (And I have a skein of Kauni in greens, that I haven't yet decided what to do with... let us know how it continues to work out for you?)
Well, there really shouldn't be. Sheep do get all manner of stuff stuck in their fleece, but good processing will remove most of it. The less processed the wool, the more like there will be stuff in it -- to the point that spinners have a term for it, VM (vegetable matter -- as opposed to *ahem* sheep output).

(lilituc commented that maybe that's too many new people at once for Pip, in which case maybe we could do something with them some other time.)

Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, but other than that our weekend days are pretty much free up until the caucus on Feb 9th.
