Sixth consecutive day of no school. Looking at the calendar, this means that in the past thirty days, they have had a grand total of seven days of school, with one of those being a half day that was mostly holiday party-ish stuff. The bus driver up here today was whining that they "should have called it." Yes, I understand that our road goes up a hill and has been a sheet of ice since it snowed last week, but come on... even P made it out of our driveway in the car without snowtires, and his skillz are not leet. I watched him: yes indeed, GUNNING IT UP THE HILL is the way to get that car out of the driveway!

Rgh. I don't get how paralyzed winter makes people here. I mean, I sort of do (it is damn hilly around here), but argh. Get a grip.

Our school district delayed school for No Snow. There was no snow on the south side of the island. Keith was confused when he arrived in Mukilteo and it was a mess.

It's been interesting here. I think the kids have been in school 2 days this year. At least Jason will be recovered enough to go to school from his last surgery by the time they start school again... Probably about the time of spring thaw ;)

I feel your pain. One school is closed tomorrow and the other, though running, is two hours late.
