so damn cold
Our power went down around 9:45 pm on Thursday. It doesn't look like it's going to be up any time really soon, as there are two major lines down within a few blocks of our house. My mom doesn't have power yet either. It's 45F in our house, and I am pretty much out of cope.
Pip doesn't comprehend the "you must wear clothes to stay warm" paradigm and will strip down to underpants and a t-shirt unless constantly hounded to keep clothes on. He's freaking out that he can't turn on lights or watch videos and I fear he thinks we're punishing him by not allowing him to watch stuff when he asks. Wm's pretty bored but since he's not really mobile anyhow he mostly nurses and sleeps and is fairly good-natured about it all.
Also, it's supposed to get down into the 20s tonight. I'd say "hey, let's go to a shelter or something," but Pip won't really sleep anywhere but home. I've been bundling Wm in with me and he's managed to stay pretty warm as a result.
