Alien spit yarn all plied. Amazing how much spinning I get done when I don't knit for several days. Lots of sparklewhite singles left, and a bunch more batts, too. I can have it both ways! Photo after sleeping... I'm thinking it will be a stole in New Shale. Old Shale, aka feather-and-fan, is sort of wavy. New Shale is more angular, like the edges haven't been rounded off. Since it reminds me of a New World beach, I thought that was a more appropriate lace pattern choice. Yes, I am a dork.
I also managed to do some knitting today. I'm 1.75 rows plus the binding off from finishing my Silky Wool Lotus Blossom shawl. Yay. Next up is swatching for
wrog's sweater. After that come the second
twistjusty sweater, maybe a sweater for me that coordinates with the one for
wrog, and the sweater for
perci. The one for
wrog is fairly big yarn on size 10 needles, so it should be quite speedy. The one for
twistjusty is going to take a fair bit longer since the yarn is ever so much thinner. Perhaps I could work on them concurrently, since the variety will no doubt be good for my hands. Hm. Now to remember where I put the magazine with the pattern in...
