Sometimes I read stories or hear about families getting in to car accidents where one of the spouses is killed, or watch movies like Up where the wife dies, or listen to old ladies talk about how much they love their husbands and plan to "go out together," and I've never really "gotten it" till now but...
I get it.
And it makes me want to fly at Ames and put my nose in his neck and never pull it away because what if I won't be able to put my nose in his neck anymore someday?
I'm so lucky and grateful for eternity, but I really think it would suck if I had to suddenly stick it out in this life without him.
