I saw a handsome guy for the first time in two years at a bar yesterday.  Had no reason to talk to him.

It would be nice if I could stop hearing about plane crashes and engine failures and bomb threats a week before I fly out to Dallas.

One thing I didn't miss about home - tornado season.  When the sky turns bright yellow and the sirens go off, forget about it.  I can't even handle regular thunderstorms.

I think at 4 years my XBOX lasted the longest out of everyone I know, but it finally happened; it red-ringed.  The warranty is up, but on the XBOX website it says repairs will cost $0.  It said the same for my friend who recently sent his in, then was charged $180.  He said I should call to make sure it wasn't going to happen to me ( Read more... )

Now Illustrator crashes every time I try to save.  Please computer, just work like you're supposed to!  I have 3 projects due tomorrow and one due tonight.  Please freaking work.  Automatic updates have always been turned off so it's unlikely that's the cause.  All this stuff just randomly happens to me.  ._.

I poured myself a glass of milk and noticed the price tag read $3.50.  $3.50 for half a gallon of milk!!  wtf!  Not only are prices high but Chicago has a food tax and a luxury tax.  Food should not be taxed, period.  I don't even know what escapes the luxury tax.  It's for anything you "don't need," and encompasses everything from ice cream to ( Read more... )

Snyder on "Watchmen," filming the unfilmable.  Except nothing is unfilmable, especially in 2009.  I don't know whether people are limiting themselves or completely copping out.  Comics are basically storyboards, and to say this adaptation was next to impossible to film is ridiculous.  This is one of my biggest peeves right up there with horrible ( Read more... )
