Snow is Falling Down

I had a great Thanksgiving, per usual.  The family gets smaller every year though, with people living out of town or leaving throughout the night to visit other family.

Thanksgiving is traditionally when the adults pick names at random of nieces and nephews they'll be buying gifts for Christmas.  Most of us are in our 20's and 30's now, and it was finally decided it was time to stop.  I still have a couple of younger cousins and I feel kind of bad they don't get showered with gifts into their 20's like I did.  Well, they'll make out like a bandit anyway since they're young.  Instead of making the gift giving a big deal, a few of the girl cousins are going to buy for each other.  You have to have presents on Christmas.  I'm not that old yet!

It's December now and I need to start watching what I eat so I can fit into my Christmas pants.  Between Thanksgiving and PMS it wasn't pretty.  Cookie baking needs to happen soon.  Sure, I'll get a taste, but it will keep me busy for hours....days.  It will also give me arms like the Hulk.  :

life, holidays
