It's starting to feel like Fall, finally. The weather's been cooler, the darkness swallows me at 4 pm, the sadness is overwhelming. Had my first eggnog this season and it was amazing. The grocery store doesn't sell alcoholic eggnog (do I have to go to a liquor store? wtf), but they are selling some interesting flavored eggnog this year. Gingerbread, Vanilla Spice, Sugar Cookie - a bunch of stuff. It doesn't really taste like eggnog, probably because they removed the nutmeg in favor of whatever flavor it's supposed to be. It tastes more like a milkshake. If you don't like eggnog, you might like this. I don't know anyone who doesn't like milkshakes.
I believe the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special is on Thursday. I grew up watching the Halloween and Christmas specials but have never seen Thanksgiving. I'll try to catch it this year.
Saturday I'm heading to Columbus for Tim & Eric Awesome Tour, Great Job! If you're not familiar with Tim & Eric, they have a show on Adult Swim and also did the "I'm on a horse" Old Spice commercials. When the show first aired, I hated it. It was like a bunch of shitty YouTube videos stuck together. I have a friend who loves the show and I started watching it more because of him. After a while I realized the genius behind it. It's notsomuch the subject matter for me but the way it's presented. They do a lot of awkward close-ups and pauses and that's usually what gets me. "It's Not Jackie Chan" is the skit that got me hooked. Yes, I know it's dumb.
Sunday I'm trying to gather people for "Hetalia" season 2, then that night is "The Walking Dead". "The Walking Dead" isn't perfect but I find it entertaining and I can't stop watching. I have a problem with how some of the characters react but it's not meant to be a dark epic so I try to suspend my disbelief. Zombie and horror movies always make me wonder if those things happened in real life, how much stupidity would I have to put up with? I'd try to lure all the intelligent people to my side and then bolt.
