Dear yuletide writer!
First, thank you for signing up! I'm sure anything you write will be great, especially considering the fandoms I chose. :p Really, love the fandoms, love the characters, so you can just ... y'know, relax and have fun writing! :)
Now, I'm guessing you might want to kill me for my requests being so vague, but please don't! Circumstances had me signing up at the last minute, and only at the last minute did I realize I needed a proxy for my signup! So, yes, I didn't want to include too many details - and wasn't sure how many I was actually supposed to include. So please forgive me.
That being said, here's some more specific things for each request, in case it helps:
For request number one, Cold Case, Lilly Rush and Scotty Valens - okay, really, believable Lilly/Scotty really DOES rule my world right now. :D I think they would make an amazing couple under the right circumstances and that they're pretty much perfect together. But if you feel you can't write them together and keep everything IC, I would be just as happy with some great background on either character, something focusing on one character or the other, or just the kids working on a case. Anything, really! I'm even okay with Lilly/Kite and Scotty/Elisa, but no other pairings, please! And as long as it's believable, any rating goes with this one. :p
(Bonus points if Scotty gets to meet Lilly's kitties. ^^)
Request number two! Anne of Green Gables series, Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe - like I said, nothing above PG for these guys, pretty please. It squicks me a little. :p But any age/generation is good with me - this is just pretty much my favourite pairing of all time and I'd love to see a "lost" scene with them. I would love a nice snuggly Christmas scene with these two. I love angst, I love Christmas, and I love cuddly fluffy fic, and these two seem perfect for that. (Creatures are a bonus! Cute fluffy creatures! :))
And number three. Grindhouse. There was a little bit of confusion with this one - because of my late signup and with not being able to see how the character thingie on the Yuletide signup worked, I ended up signing on for a character who ... I have no idea who they are. :p Um, Abby, from Planet Terror, was not supposed to be included on the signup, but I didn't know there was any other Abby other than Abernathy from Death Proof. *facepalm* So I'm really sorry about that. My request was just supposed to be Abernathy/Kim/Zoe.
So ... if you signed up to write Abby from Planet Terror, there might be a little bit of a problem. :p (Though, honestly? This was entirely my mistake and my fault for the late signup, so if this is what's happened, well, I'm willing to deal with the consequences!)
But, if you're good with writing Abernathy/Kim/Zoe, first, YAY! :D And secondly, really, anything goes. Crack, AU, slash (wheeeeeee, slashslashslashslashslash!), history, lost scene, whatever. And if it's just Kim/Abernathy, or Kim/Zoe, that would all be good, too. I realy like both those pairings, slash-wise, and I love the threesome, PERIOD (though slash could be good, too ....) so, yeah. Insane amount of love for these girls together. I love the way they interact. Lots of sarcasm and snark would be nice. ^^
Now, a couple general guidelines that are really meant mostly for requests 1 and 2 - I LOVE angst that has a happy ending. Love Christmas stuff and cheesy "Christmas magic"-type scenarios. (I know. But it's just me. :p) Being in-character and somewhat true to the original voice/spirit of the work is something I'd like. I love snark, I love fluff, I love angst (just no deathfic with my chosen characters, please!), I love best-friends-turn-lovers, I love romance and humour. I love snowstorms and characters who are obviously loving with each other. I like lots of kissing and cuddles are good and I love a happy ending. And comfort-fic! I'd love for there to be a good dose of angst followed by comfort! Preferably romantic comfort. :p
Okay, that's all I'm going to write. I've exposed enough of my geekiness to the world for the time being. Sorry for all the excited rambling. :D
