The smell of the bleachy bathroom cleaner has a catnip-like effect on Ginger. After I'm done cleaning, she rolls around on the bathroom rug next to the tub. If I close the bathroom door temporarily, to keep her out of the fumes, she rolls on the carpet in the hallway right outside the bathroom door. I think I'm going to have to work out someway to cat-proof all our lower cabinet doors. Ginger's new trick is to open them and get inside. They're cabinets, not CATbinets. They either have things inside of them that I don't want cat hair all over, or they are icky and unused and I don't even want go into them! Who knows what cats think about?!

This morning I picked up all the loose items that have migrated from their proper resting places to the living room floor over the last several weeks, straightened up my dressing room (yes, I have a dressing room, so :P), and then vacuumed the entire house thoroughly.
