In Japan, people rarely wear shoes. Unless they are walking outside, it's slippers only. This is something that I found easy to get used to, but it was not so easy for my feet. It started out with slipper shopping. See, I needed a pair of slippers for home, and a pair for school. I thought it would be fun to wear them at school, but in fact, they really caused a serious odor problem. Luckily, I'm not the only one! Near the back door at work, there is a shoe locker for employees to keep their slippers or shoes. Regardless of the cubby, the smell is apparent whenever you open a door. The other day, I got caught sniffing my own slippers, and found out that I do have some serious problem. The next problem will be trying to figure out which products will get rid of my smell.
I really do wash them, I swear!!
