To amuse you,

I'm going to post a few of my fave links. Because these sites kick arse, and I think you might enjoy some surf-age.

Cockeyed [not porn!] http://www.cockeyed.com
A couple of amazingly co-ordinated pranks, very unscientific "How Much is Inside?" adventures and random Ebay auctions. Think.... MythBusters on a lower budget.

Questionable Content [still not porn!] http://www.questionablecontent.net
Amazing web comic about some Indie kids... romantic tension and such. I'm not a big comic person, but I've fallen in love with Marten and Faye!

Bunny http://www.frozenreality.co.uk/comic/bunny
Another comic, but they're almost always one pane. They're not laugh out loud, or soap-opera-ish (like QC), but they're cute or at least make you think.

PostSecret http://postsecret.blogspot.com
Coolest blog ever. People write their secrets on postcards and send them to him. He then scans them and posts them here. Amazing idea, no? So many sad, happy, funny, intriguing, creative, scarring secrets. Beautiful. Oh, and trendy enough to be in the new All-American Rejects video AND appear on CBC's Sunday Report. But hey, I knew about it before that ;)

Spamusement! http://www.spamusement.com
This guy takes the subject lines from the spam he gets and uses them to create ghetto stylie comics.

Toothpaste For Dinner http://www.toothpastefordinner.com
Another ghetto stylie comic - this time the inspiration are titles YOU send in. Sick.

The Perry Bible Fellowship http://www.thepbf.com
OK, maybe I do have a thing for comics. SICK humor in this one, though. Like OMG so controversial sometimes but always the funniest of the comics I visit.

Dale Chihuly http://www.chihuly.com
This is perhaps the only artist whose work I can readily recognize. This guy is a GENIUS with glass, plus he lost an eye so he wears a patch and looks like a pirate [yarr]. How can he be any cooler? Admittedly, I learned about him on Martha Stewart Living. Do his sculptures remind you of anything? Yups, they decorate the Hilton in Hull... some of my friends might remember my drunken babble about this guy while hopping up and down pointing at the ceiling.

Improv Everywhere http://www.improveverywhere.com
For all the drama nerds... and anyone who can see the beauty in confusing the general public. This site documents improv scenes created in the middle of large cities. My favourite: The Moebius. The actors invented a 5 minute long series of everyday incidents that they performed in a continuous loop for several hours in a Starbucks. That blows my miiiind.

Zach Braff's Garden State Blog http://www2.foxsearchlight.com/gardenstate/blog
He no longer talks about Garden State, but hey - this is the ACTUAL Zach Braff, and he is hella funny. Melin and Stef approved. If you have an LJ account you can 'friend' the sattelite blog so when it's updated, it appears on your friends page.

wedge-esque http://wedge-esque.blogspot.com
This blog posts a list of the videos played on "The Wedge" that week. If you don't know The Wedge, you don't stay up late enough... or watch enough Much Music. It's a sick show that always features amazingly creative videos. Usually they're not really discovered artists or at least they're a little "out there", but definitely worthwhile watching at least once. Anyway, this blog gives you a way to check out the music if you miss an episode.

This Day in Music http://www.billboard.com/bb/thisday/thisday.jsp
Billboard's very own list of what happened, on this day, in music. 'Nuff said.

Alternative Press http://www.alternativepress.com
Hailing from the 80's, this magazine - now a website - features amazing music that no other print sources really touch on.

NME http://www.nme.com
Same as above, except i dunno if it's from the 80's... and it might be british? My dad seemed to know of it.

Google Maps http://maps.google.com
Type in your postal code. Hit 'hybrid' for the type of map. It amused me for hoooours.

Suicide Girls [porn] http://www.suicidegirls.com
Ha! I knew you wanted some porn. Dare you to visit.

//enjoy ]] em
