Today....
....is definitely one of those days. I only got about 2.5 hours of sleep last night. I had a particularly trying time in meat class today. We had to de-bone a leg of lamb. I officially hate legs of lamb. I will always but them boneless in the future. That darn pelvic bone with all its dips and curves is the darnest thing to remove without damaging the integrity of the meat. On the other hand, I did successfully learn how to french the rib bones of a rack of lamb. (Very cool presentation technique!) We had the opportunity to ask the chef about our daily skills and knowledge grads this afternoon. Chef told me that my written academic work was of the caliber that he would want to use as an example of how people should do the homework. !!!! :D I went to go and talk to the fish instructor, since I am currently group leader. His class was supposed to end at 2 pm. I got to the hallway a little before 2 to make sure that I would catch him. The class did not let out until 2:45 pm. AND he had a meeting to go to, so he left right after class ended. I wasted quite a bit of my afternoon. ARGH! So, yeah, today has not been stellar. Boo.
