• A long, dull teleconference can be so much improved by being able to watch a snowstorm sweep across Þingvellir while you listen. I recommend the webcams on Live from Iceland (mostly south-western tourist spots, plus volcanos) and Snerpa (spots in the Westfjords). This is the first piece of proper literary fiction that I will have read in Icelandic and I'm enjoying it very much.
