Two webcomics I recently discovered and really like:

Hark! A Vagrant!. History geekery and absurd silliness.

Darwin Carmichael is Going to Hell. Satyrs, gorgons, angels: all perfectly normal, everyday citizens. And I kinda like what the artists do with patterns and textures.
