There goes the sun...

It's raining and cloudy and dreary...BLAH! This hasn't been such a great day, and it's only 11:45. Beth is having her first chemo today, and I'm so worried. She said it was nothing for us to worry about, but I just worry...story of my life. She sent us an email this morning saying that she would miss studio class and that Angela was going to the ( Read more... )

Beth is fine, although I haven't heard anything from her today after her chemo. Ok, so the whole story...they did find cancer, of course, and she had her surgery in early February. The surgery went well, and they didn't find that the cancer had spread at all. She stayed with her sister in Boston for about two months until she felt that she could manage on her own. I think she went back to Tallahassee for a few days and also played a concert in Atlanta. She went back to Boston for awhile so that the doctors could check up on her. The doctors gave her leave to come to London, but she still has to go through chemo here (the doctors in London are a lot better than Tallahassee!). They want her to do chemo just to make sure that all of the cancer is gone, and that she will never have to go through anything like this again. She looks absolutely fabulous for just having had surgery...of course, she always looks fabulous. Her stamina isn't what it used to be, but she's slowly gaining that back. (She'll gain it back quickly with all the damn stairs in this place!) :) I know that she'll be ok because she is a very strong person. That's why I admire her so much.
Anyhow, I just want her to know that I care about her. I finally pulled myself together this afternoon and practiced. Lol...I don't mean to worry all the time, and I am practicing because I know it will make Beth happy. I just don't know how to tell her that I really love her and that I'll always be there for her if she needs me. Hmmmm...story of my life again...not knowing what to say. :) oh well, no more worrying.
I miss you!
XOXOXOX

Aww, thanks for telling. ^.^ I was getting a little worried about all that, so this kind of relieves it a bit. If she's just going to get chemo to be sure that it doesn't spread, she won't need any more than two or three. ::phew!:: And of course she looks fabulous... she's Beth. ~.^ Tee, hee! Always looking chipper. ^.^

And I'm sure she knows you care. ~.^ She doesn't want you to spazz, though, especially since they took care of most of (if not all of) the cancer in Boston. So don't fret. ::grins::

NO KIDDING Angela's ENGAGED!!! O.O That's awesome!!! She'd better bring her boyfriend around Tally (specifically FSU) one of these days; you know she'll need EVERYONE'S approval for this guy. ~.^ Haha!

I miss you, too! Can't wait to see you come Fall semester! I hope you're having a blast!

♥ Steph
