Im still trying to find the right tone, and I am having some difficulity because I am a tone freak and I am never more than 75% happy with the tone I have. Of course there is no such thing as getting a perfect tone anyway.
I am in one band right now, but the style is not what I want to do musically. However I dont mind too much, at least I get to play right? Anthany (in my band) and I are getting another band together with Ed and this kid Brian...and these guys want to do musically what I want to do, so I am very much looking foward to getting that started. It just takes a lot of effort to actually get people together to play. Of course this band will be more difficult to make music for. First Brian and I will have to pretty much write all the music (guitar and bass) before we can lay down any drum lines, which Ed will do via Fruity Looops. The trick is we have to record the bass and guitar lines into a music editing program i.e Acid Pro, SONAR etc etc. Then Ed has to write the drum line accordingly. The hard part about writing it via Fruity Loops is having to know what your doing. There will be a lot of timing changes and tempo changes through out the song. It will take much creativity on all our parts to come up with good music.
